Hi, my name is Brianna Anderson and I am a sophomore MIS and Marketing double major here at Fox. I was born and raised in Plano, Texas, and am happy that I found my way to Temple. Though I did not start my journey at Temple as an MIS major, I am extremely grateful that I ended up in this amazing major. I am currently an ITA for an MIS 2101 course, a PRO Ambassador for the MIS department, and an associate project manager for the Optimize Consulting Group. With these roles, I am very active within the MIS department which is an amazing opportunity to get to know the staff, faculty, and students. In addition to my roles within the MIS department, I am also the Director of Leadership for a newer SPO in Fox, DECA, and serve as the Vice President for the student-run organization Let's Bake TU. When I am not in Zoom meetings, I really enjoy baking, cross-stitching, and playing with my dog.

He is from Phoenixville PA, a town in Chester County an...d enjoys traveling, being outside, and throwing the football. Within MIS, Connor is a Project Manager for Optimize Consulting Group, the new initiative within AIS that aims to provide pro-bono tech consulting to local non-profits. He’s also an ITA for Digital Systems. Connor enjoys meeting new people within the major, exploring Philly’s best restaurants, and is always down for a Sixers game! Introducing MIS newest faculty Dr. Leila Hosseini! Leila received her PhD in Management Science from the University of Texas at Dallas. An underlying theme of her research is to identify managerial and operational solutions to improve efficiency in technology markets such as cloud computing and real-time digital advertising. The focus of her research is to make practical impacts by addressing urgent and timely business issues. Her research has been published at premier business research journal, Information Systems Research. She actively interacts with business communities in Boston and Dallas. Introducing one of MIS' new faculty, Dr. Jason Thatcher! Jason joins Temple University after 25 years in the Deep South - the Carolinas, Florida, & Alabama. He is a Past-President of the AIS, a Senior Editor Emeritus at MIS Quarterly, and founding advisor to the AIS student chapter at Clemson University. He is one of the most prolific authors in IS research - typically starting projects based on conversations with students and practice. Away from work, Jason... likes to travel - spending time in Denmark, Germany, and China most years - renovating old houses - driving too fast - and raising a truculent teenager. This summer, he drove up the Blueridge Parkway with his daughter Olivia Mae - stopping in Greenville, SC, Boone, NC, and the Shenandoah Valley along the way - feasting on BBQ in anticipation of shifting proteins from slow-cooked pork to beef and Philly Cheesesteaks.
