Prayer Priority May 5 2021 Pre-Approved Dear God, 1. You love me. You love me despite me. You look at me and say I am someone You want to be with You for all eternity. It boggles my mind sometimes to know that You, the God of the Universe, chose me. You see, Lord, I know my thoughts, my emotions, what I do and have done and most likely will do. But yet, You sent Your Son, Jesus, down to earth to make a way for You to accept me. Without Jesus, it would not be possible for You ...to accept us as we are, but He made it possible. I am so thankful that despite my past, I have a future. Along with me having a future, so do my loved ones who do not know You. You give us a calling and a purpose. 2. I am so glad You can use my story in Your grand story. You can use it to show those who identify with what I have gone through Your love and acceptance. You can use it to draw people to Yourself. Use me, Lord. Use my story for Your glory. I would not be who I am without You. You did not come for the healthy, but for the sick. I ask that my story would be used to make people made whole. 3. Help me to accept those around me who are going through things that are difficult that I don’t understand. I don’t need to understand what they do; I just have to love them. I don’t have accept the sin in their lives, but I do have to accept the person who Christ died for. Help me to point them to You in all that I do and all my interactions with them. Help me to love them despite what they do. Help me to show them how much You love and accept them despite everything. Help me to show them the same acceptance You have given me. 4. The more I live in Your presence, the more I will just love and accept others. The more I read Your Word, the more I become like You. The more I worship You, the more likely I am to point someone to You. I become less like me and more like You when I do these things. I ask that the Holy Spirit remind me daily to read Your Word, pray and worship and just be in Your presence. I ask that You would show up during those times and teach me Your ways. I don’t want those moments to be a daily checkmark of a task done, but a time that is full of life and communion with You. I value the times I am taught by You. I value how You show me to love more deeply than ever before. In Jesus name, Amen.
