We’re excited to introduce Art’s Hidden Language, our final digital learning experience for students grades 3-12. During a virtual tour of two artworks in The Frick Art Museum’s Italian gallery, students decode art’s hidden language through a discussion of symbolism. Students discover the important role that symbols played during the Middle Ages and how we continue to use symbols to help us communicate visually, rather than verbally. An educator who recently participated in t...his program with her students said, In a time when we could not take children to experience the museum, the program brought the museum to the children! It is a program that cannot be replicated anywhere, so I recommend participating to enrich students.
