Friends of Coxe Park

Thank you to all who came to the Coxe Park Love Your Park Service Day! We collected 34 bags of leaves, one bag of trash and planted scores of bulbs with over 20 volunteers!

Thank you Murray ladies for cleaning Coxe Park with me this morning!

We are still not able to do organized cleanups, but Team Murray went out this morning to clean up Coxe Park. Some of the bags in photo were already there this morning, so thank you to neighbors who did some clean up this week. Thank you to neighbors who saw us cleaning and jumped in to lend a hand.

We cannot get together this year to clean and maintain our beloved Coxe Park, but the incredible Philadelphia Department of Parks & Recreation created a new way today to take pride in all of our parks. Check it out! https://loveyourpark.org/blog/park-pride-day-lyp

We miss all of our young and older visitors at Coxe Park. We hope to see all of you soon. I took a quick visit to the park to make sure all is well. One positive view of this sutuation is that our planting beds have thrived! Stay safe, stay home and stay healthy! Drew
