Hey, Friendship Village of South Hills, it's #InternationalDanceDay! Whether you like to dance Salsa, the waltz or are more of a tap-your-toes kind of person, we encourage you to bust a move in celebration.

One week ago, Derek Chauvin was found guilty for his actions in the death of Mr. George Floyd. I, along with the leadership team, spent last week reflecting on the impact of this verdict on both our country and our Lifespace family. Many of our team members and residents were devastated by what occurred given their own experiences personally confronting and contending with racial injustice and discrimination. While this verdict does not replace the valuable life we lost, we... sincerely hope that Derek Chauvin’s guilty verdict is recognized as an appropriate step forward in the pursuit of a world free from discrimination and inequality. Doing better as a society starts with us each day in how we serve each other.
