We held our Spring Park Clean Up last Saturday April 10th. Twenty volunteers came out to cut down and clean out last year's flower beds, emptied our trash cans, trimmed fruit trees, and prepared our vegetable beds for Spring planting. Frankford High's JR ROTC First Sergeant showed up with goodies and a great group of hard working teenagers, tackling every job we asked them to handle with smiles. Our small but mighty group of FOOP'ers worked hard to make sure our park was rea...dy for the new growing season. State Representative Joe Hohenstein brought over pretzels, water, and trash bags for our crew. The daffodils are blooming and everything in the park is waking up and growing. Our thanks goes out to all who lent a hand in making this park glow! We need every hand to keep our park a safe, beautiful refuge for our community! Well got a new door on the little library. It is painted wood so will need some up keep but maybe not get crushed in by rocks. Some books are back in and more on the way. Enjoy the sunshine, the park, and a book, hopefully with a mask on. Cheers to your day.

Well a great big thanks to someone. The little library was repaired and looks better than ever with books to boot. Frankford is blessed with caring people who care about where they live. Never let the negative take over, there is good in all. Cheers to all. Be safe Be happy Wear a mask.

Sadly someone decided our meager book and DVD offerings don't need to be waterproof.

Hard to believe that tomorrow is December 1st. We will hold a zoom meeting at 7pm Tuesday night to wrap up this crazy year and discuss FOOP going forward. If you want to be at the meeting please message us and we will send you the link.
