When you're renovating a nearly 100-year-old-house, maintaining the balance of traditional design with modern functionality is vital. So when it came to this master bathroom, it was essential to incorporate timeless elements like soft Bianco Carrara marble countertops and Hampton Hermosa mosaic floor tile, with functional upgrades like this custom built-in @glenbrookcabinetry vanity and the Metropolis framed shower. This transformation was just one space we helped these homeowners design and renovate. Gardner/Fox is seeking an architectural design manager for our residential division. This manager would supervise the architectural design production of two draftspeople and two architects in training. Gardner/Fox uses ARCHICAD software. This manager would also oversee the design team's efforts, including independent consultants for civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers. This manager would report to a partner who is in charge of residential design. This is ...an excellent opportunity for the right candidate. Responsibilities for this position include: Complete architectural design for residential additions and renovations. Work under the direction of the partner in charge of residential design. Lead a project design team that includes civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers. Interact with local municipalities for zoning and permit approvals. Assist with client presentations. Lead home surveys (field dimensions). Interact with the construction team, including project managers, superintendents, and estimators. Maintain design schedules. Ability to learn quickly from experienced design and construction professionals.
