Hello, April! It's time to unveil the latest in my zodiac series. As the constellations continue to arc above us, in three weeks, we trade one familiar horned animal for another ... Taurus for Aries. Full disclosure: I am a Taurean. Taurus, the Bull, is the first of the earth signs. You may notice I chose the bull's palette to resemble earth, as seen from space. Venus, its planetary ruler, is seen framed by the bull's horns. The symbol for Taurus, a circle with two h...orns, has often been associated with the crescent moon and the first fertility rites of Spring. I am honored and excited to be part of the group exhibition Foothills Artists at the Adams County Arts Council Education Center in the main gallery through March. This is an excellent opportunity to see work by all ten of the Foothills Artists under one roof. The group hosts a popular self-guided studio tour in western Adams County, PA in November.
