Healthier Wing Bites! Now, I made this recipe up on the fly because your girl was in the mood for some wings (not very difficult ) BUT I think it came out pretty darn delish, if I do say so myself This recipe is a healthier option for wing bites based on the ingredients I chose! ... Yield: 1 serving Wings + blue + celery = 284 cals, 7g fat, 16g carbs, 38g protein! (You can double recipe, triple, etc. to make larger portions) Ingredients: - Bread crumbs (I used 1/2 serv - I chose a lower carb option & lightly coated them!) - 1 Egg white (Did not use the yolk!) - Hot sauce (I used one serv - I chose a hot sauce lower in carb & in sodium) - Celery - Blue cheese (I used 1/2 serv light blue cheese & 1/2 serv fat-free blue cheese & mixed together!) - 5 oz skinless, boneless chicken breast - Non-stick spray Step 1: Pre-heat oven to 350, line a baking sheet with foil & spray sheet with non-stick spray Step 2: Put your egg white into a bowl, measure out bread crumbs into a spereate bowl & slice chicken into small pieces Step 3: Toss chicken in egg whites & then into bread crumbs & place onto prepared baking sheet Step 4: Bake chicken for 15 mins until golden brown, flip chicken pieces and repeat Step 5: Take chicken out & toss into sauce Step 6: Plate & enjoy! I hope you all enjoy this as much as I did

Maintenance Update I am so proud of my progess. I'm 6 months in from starting my bulk (1st pic - May, 110 lbs), to now maintaining (2nd pic - Nov, 121 lbs). Although I had moments of doubt, days where I was unmotivated, days where I noticed the weight gain, days where I had fantastic workouts and days where I had shitty ones - I trusted the process. Was it easy? Nope it wasn't BUT it was worth it. I started my maintenance phase at 121 lbs and I've been maintaining for ab...out 2 months now. It's insane how much my goals and mindset have changed since before my bulk, throughout my bulk and now during maintenance. Were my goals and mindset bad before? Not at all but like a lot of us, I have different goals throughout seasons in my life. My current goals are to enjoy life & foood, workout when I can, put on more muscle, get "more thic" and continue maintaining my weight. Why the change you ask? I don't really know, maybe because I feared weight gain in the past but once I gained weight (11 lbs), I realized it wasn't the end of the world and I'm actually happier Do I have more cellulite? Sure do. Do I have more muscle? Sure do. Do I love the skin I'm in? Sure do! Sorry for the long rant Just wanted to drop in and say change isn't easy but it sure feels damn good! I hope you all have a fantastic night and an awesome week!

Skinny Fettuccine Alfredo Guys, this was so dang tasty and left extra cals for dessert Would you beileve me if I said there is only aprox 290 cals in a serving?! I promise you can fool all your guests with this "healthier" alternative! I think I'm about to give you your Sunday dinner plans ... Ingredients: 1 tbsp oil 3 cloves garlic 12 oz Linguine 2 tbsp flour 1 c lower sodium chicken broth 3/4 c fat-free milk 1/2 c cheese (of your choice) 2 tbsp fat-free Greek yogurt Optional: Pepper Parsley Pepper flakes Yield: about 4 servings Step uno: In large pot of boiling water, cook linguine Step due: In saucepan over medium heat, heat oil. Add garlic and cook, 1 minute. Sprinkle flour over evenly, then stir and cook until mixture is lightly golden Step tre: Gradually add broth in while whisking, 2 tablespoons at a time, waiting for mixture to become completely smooth before adding more broth. Bring mixture to a boil, then gradually pour in milk while whisking. Bring to a simmer and cook until sauce is thickened, 2 to 3 minutes Step quattro: Remove from heat and add cheese of choice (I used lower fat mozzarella, worked great) and yogurt, if using. Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of red pepper flakes Step cinque: add pasta to sauce and combine (I added in about 2 more tbsps of flour to achieve thicker sauce) & top with garnishes As always last step - Enjoy!

Happy Thanksgiving

Today I turned 26 and this isn't "just a slice of birthday cake or a slice of pizza" - Firstly my twin sister is a baker and made this cake for me (it was so so beautiful and tasted phenomenal!) but secondly this is my first slice of birthday cake that I've had in probably about 5 years and slice of pizza..probably 3. Why? It isn't because I've been deprived of Birthday cakes or pizza all of these years but because these foods have always been "fear foods" for me. Today, I e...njoyed putting fears aside, enjoyed making memories with my loved ones and had the best day. It's food. Food should be enjoyed, not feared. Lately I've been realizing despite working so much overtime at work and not having much time to workout I've been realizing..at the moment, I have different goals. Maybe I don't crave a 6 pk anymore, maybe if I don't workout 6 days a week, that is ok. But don't you worry..that booty..she's getting thic In a week or 2 I'm going to be sharing a progress update on how my body has been doing - going through maintenance! I hope you all have a fantastic week!
