It is with pride, gratitude, and love that I thank each and every one of you for allowing me to feed your souls over the past 10 years. This journey has been the most incredible of my lifetime to have helped others grow and heal has been my greatest blessing. The Groothie and teachings of raw food transformed my life. Absolutely crippled in pain, I discovered the healing properties of raw food. Since that first day, I knew what would become my life’s work. Curing diseases fr...om arthritis to cancer while fueling a healthy mind and body, the Groothie’s power is undeniable: it changes lives. In 2009, GetRealGetRaw began as a taste good, do good organization that brought fresh foods and nutritional education to people everywhere. By 2018, the Groothie was sold at upwards of 30 retail locations and had been awarded Philadelphia’s Best Smoothie twice. Yet despite its growing popularity, I always found the most gratification in eduction. Equipped with my table and blender, I’d preach the benefits of a nutritious diet in schools, hospitals, seniors homes anywhere that would have me. So while the Groothie will no longer be packaged for sale, it’s recipe remains the same. As healing and nutritious as it is delicious, the Groothie is chock full of organic dark leafy greens, organic apples, bananas, pineapple and then blended with filtered water. So while you make your Groothie at home, I ask you to carry forward the core teaching of GetRealGetRaw, and remember that food changes lives.
