Licensed Battlefield Guides can be reserved for tours throughout the winter. This time of year provides an excellent opportunity to study terrain! . Though the battle was fought in July, much of the wooded areas on the battlefield appeared open due to animals grazing in the farmers' woodlots. . Therefore, if you want to see Culp's Hill the way Edwin Forbes did, take a tour in the winter! The rocks appearing in sketches, paintings, and early photography create a scavenger hun...t on the field. . Call the office at 717-337-1709 and leave a message to reserve your guide today. . Gift certificates are also available. Message us for details! . Sketch and painting in this post provided from the Library of Congress. See more
