PRAISE THE LORD FACEBOOK! To God Be the Glory!! We had a baptism on Sunday! Thank you Lord for the soul that gave his life to you! Pray for him as he tarries for the holy ghost.... I Corinthians 3:11 - "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ." God has given us HIS sure foundation to stand on. When we lean to our own understanding or try to follow another way, it will always be like sinking sand. Why do we choose the sinking sand? Would we live in a physical house that was built on sand? No, we know that would be disastrous! We have to evaluate our lives and make sure we are trusting God in every area. He will see us through every time! 1 My hope is built on nothing less than Jesus' blood and righteousness; I dare not trust the sweetest frame, but wholly lean on Jesus' name. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. 2 When darkness veils His lovely face, I rest on His unchanging grace; in ev'ry high and stormy gale my anchor holds within the veil. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. 3 His oath, His covenant, His blood support me in the 'whelming flood; when all around my soul gives way He then is all my hope and stay. On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand; all other ground is sinking sand. 4 When He shall come with trumpet sound, O may I then in Him be found, dressed in His righteousness alone, faultless to stand before the throne.
