Re: COVID-19 update June 12th 2020 Governor Wolf recently moved Northampton and Lehigh counties , from the red phase to the yellow phase of the Commonwealth’s Process to Reopen Pennsylvania plan. This is exciting and hopeful news for all of us, as it indicates the number of confirmed cases of the virus in our region is declining and our efforts over the last 2 months have been successful. As conditions in the valley continue to rapidly improve, we are now looking to ...allow for the option to resume in-person treatment. As we return to the office , the health and safety of our clients and staff are of the greatest importance. Our planning for resuming in person treatment is focused on creating conditions that will allow us to do so safely. We continue to closely follow developing guidance provided by governmental agencies, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and our health professionals in developing policies and protocols conducive to sustaining health and safety. These efforts involve implementing strategies to integrate social distancing, increasing frequency and intensity of cleaning and sanitation. We will have hand sanitizer and facial masks available and will offer touch free payment options. The presentation of the waiting room will look a little different to ensure distance between clients. Therapists will review any other changes with our clients prior to returning to the office. Our therapists remain committed to providing our clients with excellent care and are willing to continue to accommodate telehealth requests. However, the length of this option will be based on specific insurance companies. We are so appreciative of everyone’s flexibility and adaptability in the most trying of times.
