Hi Friends, Unfortunately, we are not going to be able to hold our outdoor Christmas Eve service tonight, because of the weather. There will be a service posted online later this evening so keep your eyes open for it. However, the weather looks good for Sunday, so we will be having a Christmas Carol sing Sunday morning in the parking lot at our usual 11am service time. Bring your coats and chairs and we will spend some time together praising God for the gift of his son Jes...us Christ. I look forward to seeing you all there! Blessings, Pastor Luke

Kendall You can read the full prayer below. Loving Lord, We gather today in the middle of Advent waiting. Good news of the coming of the Rescuer draws us, good news of a great joy for all the people. Not just some but allmade and, though broken or bent, cherished still. In the middle of our waiting, good news drowns out the sounds and taunts suggesting otherwise, all are cherished for brilliance inborn though not yet cultivated and nurtured, for beauty soul-deep waiting to shine in glorious splendor. In the middle of our waiting, there’s great joy welling up and busting out songs of wonder, choruses of astonishment, and raptures of heart and soul that dare the gloom to remain. Yes tidings of Joy that resists all usual and reasonable confines. In the middle of our waiting, joyous news of One who is Lord--enthroned in blessing and honor and glory, acclaimed and extolled, emptying, relinquishing, reducing, abasing, humbling, surrendering, downwardly bottoming, and descending low, lower, and lowest. In the middle of our waiting, joyous news of One who is Messiah--rejoicing to receive the little ones and welcome the stranger-outcasts; gladdening eyes that see, ears that hear, hearts made warm; sending laughing sinners away forgiven and free, clean and whole, for holiness. Loving Lord, In the middle of our waiting, we are eager for good news of great joy! Let the One who has come now offer the great exchange death for life, darkness for Light, hate for Love flooding in, filling up, flowing ‘til tears of sadness change to gladness, as mirth and merriment rule the day, through Jesus, Savior, Lord, only and always Immanuel!

(Participants will be asked to stay in their vehicles or sit or stand near their vehicles, and not mingle with one another.)
