God's Grace Sport Fishing

Thank you Jason Lorenzo for bringing the family fishing aboard Gods Grace today. The Lake Trout bite remains tough and inconsistent. We went 8 for 10 today with a bonus eye. Not much rhyme or reason as we picked fish all over the water column from 48 to 65 fow. Most of the fish came off 1 hot downrigger with a 21lber for an anchor. Walleye season kicking off soon. Now is the time to reserve a date! 814 671 3035

Todays charter cancelled in hopes of a more favorable forecast later in the week. Big mistake. The lake was beautiful this morning. Butch, Ryan and I went on a scout and found them.

A big shout out to Captain Ryan Raines of Chasing Dreams Sportfishing for joining me aboard God's Grace on this wicked rainy day in search of active lake trout for my upcoming charters. Home now drying out but happy to say, put the smackdown on the today!

First laker charter this year with Darrick Johnson's boys. Very well behaved young men on a tough bite. We did manage a handful of scattered fish including this 20 lber that Caleb caught. Just couldn't find that decent sized school to work. Scouting Barcelona tomorrow.
