Not happy where they were being treated the client came into our office with high hopes. We did 2 treatments, most of the shading is now gone and the line-work is breaking up nicely. Not happy with the cover-up, this client came in to start removing all of it. Peeling back the layers of pigment the original tattoo is now very, very visible. Both PicoSure and C6 have been used here. Before you get a cover-up, talk with your artist about having the older, unwanted tattoo faded, first. This will help ensure you love the new tattoo. Beautiful fading on this tattoo after 8 treatments. The original had a bit of scarring, either from when the tattoo was done or during healing, which is now far more visible in the faded piece. #FrostingFriday! This is what a tattoo looks like immediately after the first tattoo removal treatment is done. We call it 'frosting' and is a temporary byproduct caused by the heat generated from the laser. About 10-15 minutes post treatment this fades and the fading starts to happen about 2-3 weeks after the treatment.
