This Thursday is our next opportunity to gather together as a church family to seek the Lord for our upcoming pastoral ministry transition. We will open the night by worshipping the Lord through song, as well as hearing from Pastor Adam about how the Lord has led him to consider being the next lead pastor and the specifics of his vision for Grace's future. There will also be opportunities for those in our church family to ask questions of Pastor Adam & Pastor John. Join us in the sanctuary at 6:30pm! If you are not able to attend, you can participate via livestream (an email will be sent out on Thursday with the link).

We are thankful to be able to meet together for worship this Sunday. The elders appreciate your prayers as we meet and respond to the pandemic in light of the state's recent orders. We will keep you updated if any changes to our ministries are made in the coming weeks. Thank you for praying for our church family and following our safety protocols. Our leadership continues to do all we can to ensure we have a safe facility to gather in. - Elder Team

Hope in Hard Times | Daily Dose of Grace - Christmas Edition Sometimes Christmas can be a difficult time as it reminds us of people that we miss around the holidays. Pastor Adam reminds us that Jesus Himself is acquainted with our suffering and is willing to draw near to us in hard times.

"The 'magic' of Christmas is not just that God himself came from heaven as a man. And it is not just that he humbled himself as a servant to meet the needs of others. And it's not even just that he came to die....The magic is that he came down, and did all that, to rescue us." - David Mathis, The Christmas We Didn't Expect

We look forward to meeting again on-site this Sunday! In order to keep each other safe so that we can continue to meet in person, we ask that you please wear a mask in our facility, observe the needed practice of washing your hands and using hand sanitizer, and practice social distancing when seated or when in a conversation with another. If you are feeling ill or experiencing ANY of the symptoms associated with COVID-19, PLEASE stay home and join us on our livestream service. This same recommendation also applies if you think you may have been exposed to the virus by someone who has tested positive.

Grace Church at Willow Valley 16.09.2020

We have been made aware that there are several congregants who were in attendance last Sunday who are being tested or have tested positive for Covid-19. In light of this, the Pastors and Elders have made the decision to cancel in-person services for this Sunday, November 22. Lord willing, we plan to resume in-person services on November 29. Please join us for our livestream service at 11 a.m. We will also continue our Missions ABF class at 9:45 a.m. via Zoom. Both links can ...be found in the comments below. Sunday was to be the final day to drop off Operation Christmas Child boxes. Someone is in the office today until 3 p.m. if you wish to bring your filled boxes to the church. Please pray for those in our church family who are sick. As a reminder, please do not attend on-site services if you or anyone in your household is sick or being tested for Covid. We wish you a Happy Thanksgiving! We remain together for the gospel, Pastor John on behalf of the Elders, Pastors, and Staff

New Sermon Mini-Series! Giving Thanks in the Midst of Uncertainty Psalm 46 & 33... For the past eight months, our lives have been turned upside down. As a result of the pandemic (both its health and economic impact), social unrest throughout the country, and a bitter, contentious, partisan presidential campaign, many Americans are discouraged, disillusioned, and depressed. In addition, the other pandemic (deaths due to opioid overdoses) has not gone away but just the opposite. Deaths are up significantly. And the beat of bad news goes on. In the midst of all this upheaval and uncertainty, we need hope. As pastor and author Chuck Swindoll has written, We can live several weeks without food, days without water, and only minutes without oxygen. But without hopeforget it. Our hope is, of course, grounded in Christ and his gospel. And when we embrace the gospel promises and stand upon them, we will find stability in the midst of this current storm. Therefore, on the Sundays which sandwich Thanksgiving, we will be taking an in-depth look at two Psalms which, when understood and lived out, will bring us stability and hope in our often turbulent and desperate world.

We understand that some are not yet comfortable returning to on-site services, and we want to make sure to stay connected! We will be including family pictures and greetings in our preservice slides in the sanctuary and on the live stream. Whether you are worshiping on-site or from home, send a picture and a 1-2 sentence greeting that we can share! You can email your greeting to [email protected] or message the church on Facebook.

"The fact that Christ was really in the flesh, that he was no phantom, no shadow mocking the eyes, is exceedingly important. Eyesight is good, clear evidence. But better still John had leaned his head on Jesus Christ. His hands had often met the real flesh and blood of the living Savior. We need have no doubt about the reality of Christ's incarnation when we have these open eyes and hands to give us evidence." - The Spurgeon Study Bible

"And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved." Acts 2:42-47, ESV

"So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord." - Ephesians 2:19-21, ESV
