It’s a beautiful day for a market in Mt. Oliver! We’re hitting the road now and we’ll be back on May 10th from 11-12. You can catch us later today at the Family Dollar in Clairton from 1:30-2:30 and Honor Roll Park in Glassport from 3:30-4:30.

We're in Duquesne today until noon. We have plenty of fruits, vegetables, and more! We'll be back here on Friday, May 14th and Friday, May 28th.

Green Grocer is excited be working with Freeman Family Farm & Greenhouse this season! Come see us in Duquesne tomorrow at 35 Grant Avenue from 11:00-12:00 to get some of their beautiful collards!

UPDATED on 12/3/2020. We're sorry for the late notice but we won't be able to hold our Oak Hill market today. We will be in Rankin from 2p-4p. The temperature for tomorrow, December 3, looks just warm enough for us to hold markets. We'll be in Oak Hill at the Matilda H. Theiss Health Center from 1030a-1230p and in Rankin near A Child's World Day Care Center from 2p-4p. ... See you tomorrow!

Due to temperatures below 25F and a winter weather advisory, we will be cancelling our markets that were to be held tomorrow, Tuesday, December 1. Weather permitting, we will be back in Homewood, East Hills, and Wilmerding on Tuesday, December 15. We will continue to monitor the weather and make a determination this Wednesday for Thursday's markets in Oak Hill and Rankin, and Friday's markets in Millvale and McKees Rocks. Stay safe and warm!

Good morning! Today, Thursday, October 29th, we will be at our Homewood market from 10a-12p, East Hills market from 1p-3p, and Wilmerding market from 4p-6p. This change was made because the 1st Tuesday in November, when we'd normally be holding these markets, is Election Day and we will be off that day. ... After today, we'll be back in these communities on the 3rd Tuesday in November: November 17th. See y'all later!

10/22/2020 Today's Hill District Green Grocer market is cancelled. While on our way, we have experienced significant problems with our truck's transmission. We're sorry for any inconvenience this causes you and will have more updates later on the status of tomorrow's markets in Sheraden and at the Woods Run Library. ... Thank you for your understanding! We may look a little different but we're in Sheraden today until 1230p and will be at the Woods Run Library from 2p-4p. Because we don't have our normal Green Grocer truck, we're unable to offer eggs, milk, juice, or frozen meats right now. We are excited to now offer kale, collards, lettuce, broccoli, and cabbage grown right here in Sheraden by Farmer Girl Eb.

In response to COVID-19, The Food Trust's Food Bucks program increased at farmers markets and supermarkets to provide a 100% match for those shopping with SNAP/...food stamps. So for every $2 a shopper spends using SNAP (this includes P-EBT benefits), they've received a $2 Food Bucks coupon to purchase fresh produce. Due to lightning and flash floods, we'll be cancelling our Woods Run Library market today. We'll be back at the Woods Run Library on the 2nd and 4th Friday's of the month from 2p to 4p. We'll see next you on September 11th and September 25th.

Due to some necessary truck repairs, we will be unable to hold our Mt. Oliver/Knoxville market today.
