Thank you all for coming out this past weekend and loading up on plants for your gardens. It was so nice to see many of my return customers and a lot of new ones too. You just about cleaned me out. I am in the process of bringing up newly potted plants but they just aren't quite ready to be sold yet. We need sunshine and warm temperatures. Not this crazy cold wet weather. Hummingbirds will start arriving in the next two weeks! They will need energy for their migration north, so get those hummingbird feeders ready. And remember that homemade nectar is best: no dyes or flavoring, just water and sugar.

Christmas Tree Tip So for all those families with real Christmas trees.....I learned something interesting from the farmer and his wife. Before watering you...r tree......boil the water first, let stand for 5 minutes and then water tree! This with keep the sap from getting hard and allow for the water to go up the bark! Cold water clogs the openings with the sap and your tree will die much quicker! Christmas tree lesson #101. Enjoy your tree well into the new year!! See more
