New sealer on the tennis courts today!! Ready for tennis court lines, extra basketball lines and NEW in 2021, PICKLE BALL!!!

And just like that the pools are a beautiful shade of blue! Lots of muscle here today.

May 1st deadline is rapidly approaching. If you would like to stop by the pool and pay for your membership and save the late fee, we are here today til 7:00, most of the day Thursday and Friday and all weekend. Please call 717 764-2037 to make sure we didn’t run to the hardware store. :)

If you did not get your chairs at the end of 2020, TODAY IS THE DAY! We are cleaning out the racks to start fresh in 2021. Please come get your chairs. What is not picked up today will be gone tomorrow. Thank you!

New 2021 summer season brings a beautiful new bathroom look!

Got What It Takes to be a GVP Employee? We are currently conducting interviews for new employees. The manner in which we run our program is by hiring 15 and 16 year olds and start them out in the Snack Bar as well as other jobs while we train them to lifeguard. You do not need to be a strong swimmer to be a great lifeguard. The new employee is actually trying out to be a Lifeguard. If they do well the first summer, they will be invited back the second summer and so on. After ...working with us a few seasons, the top senior guards are making up to $15 per hour. These guards are the heartbeat of the guard staff. In addition to lifeguarding, they mentor younger guards who started out just like they did. Our intent is to provide good valuable summer jobs to our employees through their college years. The number of hours worked depends on your availability and performance. In general, the more seniority you have, the more hours you will work, but you will only be scheduled to work when you make yourself available. In other words, we work around your busy schedule. Preference is given to current or past pool members as well as to students with good grades in school.
