GA and German House Director Johanna hosted a scavenger hunt for German House participants at Clark Park for an end-of-the-year gathering! Scavenger hunts are a very typical German thing and the treasure they found at the end was a box with German candy and the German House Newsletters created this semester! Oh, and don’t worry. We’re all vaccinated!
10/10 for the weather experience, 0/10 for the pollen experience. Enjoy your day, all!

Hi Gregory Folks! We are continuing to highlight Women's History Month and excited to share Episode 3 of our Diversity Discourse Across the Disciplines podcast series. In this episode we highlight one of Penn's university leaders, Deputy Provost Beth Winkelstein. Deputy Winkelstein is the Eduardo D. Glandt President's Distinguished Professor in the Department of Bioengineering out of the School of Engineering and Applied Science where women comprise less than 20% of the facul...ty. She is also the PI of the Winkelstein Spine Pain Research Lab. In this episode, Deputy Provost Winkelstein - one of the world’s leading innovators in research on new treatments forspine and other joint injuries - talks with Faculty Director Lisa about her pioneering research and some of her responsibilities as Penn's Deputy Provost. We talk about her path to academia and as with all of our podcast guests - what she does for fun! LINK IN BIO TO LISTEN!
