Just a friendly reminder that Grove Township November meeting will be Tuesday November 10, 2020 due to Wednesday being Veteran's Day.

REMINDER... There will be a planned outage to upgrade facilities affecting West Penn Power customers in vicinity of Benezette, Driftwood and Sinnamahoning. Th...e interruption is scheduled for Wednesday, September 30, 2020 between 8:00am - 4:00pm. A total of 986 customers will be impacted while West Penn Power performs work to improve service reliability. A call will be made to each customer's phone number as listed on their electric account via the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. Customers needing to update their account phone number or have questions about the outage should call the contact center directly at: 1-800-686-0021. Thank you.

Folks, just a heads up that the Cameron County Conservation District is working with Grove Twp to improve the river access area at the bottom of Wycoff Road dow...nstream of the bridge. We were hoping to have it done sooner but we are unable to pour concrete until tomorrow. The access will be closed completely until this friday the 4th and after that will be limited to FOOT TRAFFIC ONLY until next week sometime. So PLEASE no driving on the new concrete. A sign will be posted at the site so everybody knows. This project will make it much easier for people to access the river to launch and recreate on Sinnemahoning Creek. No more mudhole to worry about getting stuck in. See more

A huge thank you to the gentleman on 8/20/2020 picked up some trash that the bear had tore up at the Township dumpster. It was nice seeing someone doing a good deed instead of throwing illegal stuff in the dumpster. Thank you again

VANDELISM - WE NEED YOUR HELP TO STOP IT Deja vu. The other Smokey Bear silhouette on the Fire Danger Sign on Bootjack Hill, Ridgway Township, along RT 219 was ...recently stolen. In addition, both Smokey Bear silhouettes on the Fire Danger Sign on Route 120 in the town of Sinnemahoning were stolen over the weekend. The damage to the signs is similar in all the thefts. It is time consuming and costly to replace these signs and we need your help to catch the thieves. We can’t do this without you. Anyone with information or anyone who may have seen the Smokey silhouettes, please contact this office or the state police. The Elk State Forest contact number is 814-486-3353.

Well we got most of the signs up, and unfortunately one was stolen already. The nice part, we expected this and put trail cameras to watch certain ones.
