The Crusader Baseball program hosted their annual Military Appreciation Day event today vs. Lancaster Catholic High School. Lancaster Catholic won the Varsity game 11-0 and McD won the JV game 7-3. Thank you to all of the people who helped make the event possible & special thanks to all of our military service men & women.

Saturday's featured athletic event is our annual Military Appreciation Baseball games vs. Lancaster Catholic. The event is a doubleheader with the Varsity game at 11am followed by the JV game around 1:15/30pm. You can view today's festivities on the link below all day. The live stream will begin at 10:50am for a few pregame announcements by President Gardiner, Sister Tracey, and Carmen Finestra. 2/10 Athletic results: Crusader Wrestling wins a key Mid Penn Capital Division clash @ Camp Hill 40-22. The team finishes division matches tomorrow vs. Harrisburg and Saturday @ Steel High. Girls Basketball scores vs. Central York - Varsity McD defeated Central York in a great win 47-44; JV - McD defeated Central York 49-41. ... Boys Basketball scores @ Central York - Varsity fell to Central York 84-47; JV Central York also defeated McD 42-33.

Today is the 25-Year Anniversary of the 1995 AA PIAA Championship Crusader Football team that defeated Burrell High School 29-0 on a bitterly cold day at Mansion Park in Altoona. Under Head Coach Four Chapman, the Crusaders finished undefeated at 15-0 and claimed Mid-Penn I, AA District III and AA PIAA championships along the way. Congratulations to the coaching staff, players, alumni, cheerleaders & band and to all of community fans that helped along the way. Posted below are some snapshots of that great memory and season.

Girls Basketball - Tuesday's 2/9 home JV/Varsity games vs. Warwick have been canceled and will not be rescheduled. We are currently looking for an additional game for the program to be played at a later date.

Updated Mid Penn Winter Sport Information: Practices/Try Outs can begin Friday, November 20th, 2020. Regular season contests can begin Friday, December 18th, 2020.... Regular season is capped at 18 games/competitions. Division contests will begin after the New Year on Monday, January 4th, 2021. The Mid Penn Swimming & Basketball Championship Tournaments are canceled. Local school boards still have the final say as to whether their school participates. It is the intent of the MPC to begin the winter sports season on the dates above with each school following their Health & Safety plan.

It is our pleasure to share with you our new girls softball scoreboard! As a token of appreciation for Mr. English's generosity to our school, we have named the field in his honor. Congratulations to the 2020 Crusader Football Team for an outstanding season undefeated at 6-0 as Mid Penn Keystone Co-Champions! The team battled adversity in a variety of ways and learned many life lessons along the way to carry for a lifetime. McD is proud of the ‘20-21 seniors, team members & coaching staff!
