Veteran picker, Joyce Fitchett of Crisfield, took time out of her morning of work to walk me through her techniques for picking the body of the crab. In this vi...deo she is extracting the Jumbo Lump and the Lump meat, the claws are sent to another picker or a machine for processing. Proficient crab pickers will pick up to 800 crabs throughout a day of work.
