Update: CANCELLED Healing Rivers Bass Bash Slated for May 15, 2021 has been canceled Please share, share, share! ... Help get the word out! There is NO MAKE -UP DATE at this time. If the Covid situation turns around in time for a Fall event we will try to put something together....but it looks doubtful. The global Covid 19 pandemic just won’t go away. In fact it is stronger now than ever. The way of life we all strive to get back to seems like a distant dream. The optimists in me believes that day will come. The decision to cancel was based simply due to the high risk factor to becoming infected. Stay in touch with Healing Rivers. We are working every day to establish a central location with a lodge. We will offer all expenses paid events on weekends throughout the year. This process is very difficult and time consuming, but we will prevail. Our focus is and will always be to provide healing for our countries traumatically injured combat veterans, families and care-givers. Our expanded program will include: fishing, hunting, kayaking, hiking, horseback riding, habitat and stream improvement, family unity camping outings, wildlife watching and photography and much more. To our military men and women I want to create a sounding board for anyone who has ever attended a Healing Rivers Bass Bash event. Your comments on what you thought about our program, what if anything has it done to improve your attitude, mental health, outlook on life etc.... Feedback is important to acknowledge. It will help us to improve our program. Positive comments will also help others to see the benefits of submersing yourself into outdoor recreational activities, realizing that there is help and people that really do care about you.
