One of the most significant unmet needs for many low-income women and girls is access to menstrual products. For these women and girls, the Shape of Justice is literally a tampon or pad. We are grateful for the work of Shape and Justice in Northumberland and our partnership with them. Today we received a large delivery of period products to give back to our community. It would be a HUGE BLESSING to us and them if you would donate to Shape of Justice and help them continue to meet needs of women in our own community and many others in rural PA communities. 100% of your donation goes directly back into purchasing menstrual products for our community and communities like ours around Central Pa. https://www.shapeofjustice.org/the-project

Luke 7: 31 Then Jesus left the vicinity of Tyre and went through Sidon, down to the Sea of Galilee and into the region of the Decapolis.[h] 32 There some people brought to him a man who was deaf and could hardly talk, and they begged Jesus to place his hand on him. 33 After he took him aside, away from the crowd, Jesus put his fingers into the man’s ears. Then he spit and touched the man’s tongue. 34 He looked up to heaven and with a deep sigh said to him, Ephphatha! (which... means Be opened!). 35 At this, the man’s ears were opened, his tongue was loosened and he began to speak plainly. ----- That verse, #34...when Jesus breathed a "deep sigh"....it is the same original text meaning as when God breathed life into a new creation. Jesus LITERALLY breathed NEW LIFE into this deaf, mute, socially cast out man. He was a NEW CREATION in every single sense of the word. Jesus makes the deaf hear, the broken healed, the the blind to see, the prisoner free, the outcast a new status. If you are in need of newness, Jesus has it for you. ---- 36 Jesus commanded them not to tell anyone. But the more he did so, the more they kept talking about it. 37 People were overwhelmed with amazement. He has done everything well, they said. He even makes the deaf hear and the mute speak. A restaurant in Denham Springs has a wall with prepaid tickets for people that are hungry but can’t afford a food, are homeless, etc. They just grab a ticket wi...th a meal they would like that a previous customer paid for. A new take on pay it forward. I just love this so much and wanted to pass it along to maybe inspire some business owners that follow me on Facebook! The restaurant is Papis Mexican Cuisine !

Nazarenes in Armenia are providing food and hygiene relief packages to families displaced by the recent war between Armenia and neighboring country Azerbaijan t...hat erupted on September 27. In the wake of a ceasefire between the two nations that began November 10, about 75,000 people have been displaced from the region. Some are in shelters, and others have taken shelter with family members or friends. Thousands of people who were engaged in the conflict were killed, and more than 100 are still missing. We are used to the war at the borders, said Pastor Rita Lao, of the Yerevan church. When you hear about war, we [think], ‘OK, it’ll end in a few days. Maximum four days. But it continued. Houses were being destroyed. Even if the war would stop, it would be difficult for people to go back to their homes. And it’s winter. Initially, volunteers from the four Nazarene churches in Armenia independently responded to the emergency needs of those around them. But as the war stretched on, the churches partnered with NCM to buy more food, clothes, mattresses and other items to meet people’s ongoing needs. By late November, churches had provided food, clothing, blankets, and hygiene items to 38 children under the age of 15, and to 74 adults. The volunteers are aware that their contribution is small in the face of mass displacement, but those organizing the response feel strongly that they must do something. We won’t be able to say we are going to reach out to everybody and change the world, but we are going to change the world of the person we are meeting, Lao explained. Please read and share this. Remember that sex trafficking happens EVERYWHERE EVERY DAY but the big events like the Super Bowl, the Final Four, Kentucky Derby, Political Conventions etc will draw huge crowds and thus traffickers will descend on those events.
