Richard E. Hudson, 83, Johnstown, died September 25, 2020 at McCullough Place. Born February 28, 1937 in Johnstown. Son of John Ronald and Ina (Mattingly) Hudson. Preceded in death by parents; wife Joyce (Mentz); brother Rolf; sisters Ellen Schmadel, Vinna Himes, Margaret Schneider and Lila Cenc. Survived by children Ricky l.(Barb Weaver), John R. (the late Peg Blackner), Denise (Terry L. Miller); grandchildren Jamie married to Michael Jenkins, Justin and Robert Hudson and Ch...ristopher Miller; great grandsons Austin and Blake Jenkins. He was a member of BPO Elks Lodge #175, VFW Post #155, F& AM #538, Oakland VFD and the American Legion #849. He retired from Peoples Natural Gas. U.B. was well known in the Richland, Geistown and Oakland areas. The family would like to thank the staff at McCullough Place and Penn Hospice for the compassionate and loving care you showed U.B. At his request, all services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Donations may be made to Oakland Fire Dept. or VFW Post 155 in his memory. Bradley James Wagner, 43, Johnstown, died September 23, 2020 at home. Born November 26, 1976. Son of the late David Lee Nagy and Cathy Lou (Wagner) Cook. Survived by son Bradon Wagner; sisters Amanda and Linda Cook; nieces and nephews Merrissa Yarnell, Kaelob Cook, Devon Cook, Lydiah Cook; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He loved to draw and care for animals, especially his fish tank. A memorial service will be held at a later date. John Henderson Company Funeral Home is serving the family.

Benjamin R. Johnson, 57, Johnstown, died September 22, 2020 at home. Born May 2, 1963 in Mt. Pleasant. He was the son of the late Thomas R. and Loretta Jean (Fulmer) Johnson. Survived by son Nathan Johnson; siblings Kelly Renee married to Kenneth Bell, Lorianne Lynn married to Barry DeAngelis, William Arthur Johnson married to Donna, Matthew David Johnson married to Kari A. Johnson; step-siblings Desiree married to Andy Varner and Julie Ann Johnson; step mother Pamela Johnson...; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and great nieces and nephews; loyal canine companion Grizz. He was a U.S. Veteran of the Army National Guard. He loved being outdoors, especially to hunt and ride quads. Lazy J's hunting camp was one of his favorite places to go in Bedford. CHIOCCIOLI- Theona Mae, 92, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2020 at Columbus Colony Elderly Care, Westerville, OH. Preceded in death by parents Fred and Marie (Hillegas) Hankinson, husband Paul Anthony, infant great grandson Ronin Gallagher, sisters Evelyn Grove and Delores Wagstaff and brother Robert. Survived by daughter Joyce Gallagher (Barry); grandsons name sake Paul Anthony Scaletta of Pittsburgh, Nicholas Scaletta (Catherine) of Gaithersburg, MD and Ben Gallagh...er (Emily) of Johnstown; great granddaughters Adelyn and Nora Scaletta and Lili Gallagher; brother Eugene (Lana) of Remington, VA; sister Mary McNamara (Michael) of Richland and numerous nieces and nephews. She was an amazing woman despite being Deaf and losing her sight late in life. She was always appreciative of family and friends who took time to spend with her, especially her niece Polly Simmons. Theona was an inspiration to all who knew her. She attended Western PA School for the Deaf in Pittsburgh with her sister, Evelyn and brother Robert. She worked for many years as a seamstress at Goldstein's, also worked at Henderson's Laundry, then Goodwill from where she retired due to losing her sight. She and her husband were active in the Deaf Community thru the Johnstown Association of the Deaf, allowing them to meet for conversations and social activities. She was a member of NAD, PSAD, AADBA and the "Women's Sewing Club" where local deaf women got together to share their lives. She had an infectious smile and trademark giggle. Mark Twain said it best, "Kindness is the language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see." Due to COVID restrictions, services will be held privately. LEONARD- Jody D., 59, Johnstown. Passed away on September 21, 2020 at her residence. Born July 31, 1961 in Johnstown. Daughter of John F. Diebold and Rebecca J. Bowden. Preceded in death by her step father Patrick Holovka, children Robert D. and Sarah D. Leonard, and maternal grandparents Robert J. Bowden and Nellie Bowden Hedges. Survived by her mother; father; son Johnathan L. Leonard of Saxton; brother Tobias Holovka of VA; sisters Molly Morgan and Jennifer Harnett married to Matthew all of Johnstown; former husband Ronald D. Leonard of Saxton; and beloved dog Maggie. Jody was a talented cook and seamstress. She enjoyed making "Memory Bears" for people who had loved ones pass away. At Jody's request, there will be no viewing or service.
