"The final rankings are based on who receives the highest combined scores in a twofold evaluation: a review of a company’s workforce policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, along with the results of an employee survey measuring employee satisfaction... Reinhardt’s Agency is ranked 18th this year, placing in the top 20 two years in a row." Congrats Reinhardt's Agency Inc. !

"The ordinance calls for the area around Joy Cone Co.’s factory on Lamor Road changing from residential to commercial, and the Route 18 South overlay district becoming a neighborhood mixed-use district, Coxe said. Other areas will be rezoned for mixed use as well to allow for more flexible development in the future, Coxe said. It is a wholesale change, but at the same time we’re just going in and hopefully simplifying it, Coxe said."

The Herald ran an article last week regarding the expansion of the Shenango Valley Enterprise Zone - which provides low interest loans to attract businesses to invest in neighborhoods and municipalities. Included in the zone are Sharon, Farrell, Hermitage, Sharpsville, Wheatland and Greenville. Some municipalities are completely within the zone while others, like Hermitage, are partially included in the zone. The SV Enterprise Zone hopes to expand its borders to include all o...f Hermitage and other municipalities, in hopes of attracting more investors.
