Say hi to the babies who've made their appearance so far...

Dear Pregnant Goats of Hickory Cove Farm, We are pleased to announce that the 2017 birthing suite is ready and waiting for your comfort and convenience. We offer a bed of soft pine shavings, and chopped straw is available as well if you need a bit of extra warmth. During labor and delivery, you will have one to three experienced attendants who are ready to provide a relaxing, calm environment and will offer pats, scritches, and encouragement. Hay and grain will be available ...to you to munch on as you please, and fresh water is always provided. After giving birth, you will be treated to a bucket of warm molasses water and an herbal tonic to aid in your healing. When making reservations, please note that our suite will only accommodate two does at one time, so please schedule accordingly. For a few weeks following the birth, you and your kids will spend time with other new mothers in our post-natal pen, located just a short distance away. Babysitting and snuggling services are easily obtained. We look forward to serving you and helping to welcome your new kids into the world! Your faithful servants, The FarmHers of Hickory Cove.
