Today, October 26th, is our last Trail Luv Monday of the year. We will be meeting at 5:30PM at 239 Downing Drive again, but today we will be celebrating the conclusion of another successful year of trail work. We will have a cookout, practicing strict protocols with the preparers wearing nitrile gloves and face masks. We will have burgers made with bison and organic beef, with sides of potato salad. We will also have the usual snacks and adult beverages, plus soft drinks.... Please bring your mask with you and plan to practice social distancing as we gather and celebrate. And feel free to bring a camp chair.

We have moved Trail Luv Monday to Trail Luv Tuesday this evening from 5:30-7:30 at the Downing Drive Trailhead. Please wear a mask and if you would like to bring gloves and water you are welcome. We will be adding lath to the boardwalk, cleaning up, and reflecting on a great year!

Due to an unfriendly weather forecast, we are canceling Trail Luv Monday today. We may reschedule. Stay tuned...

Tonight is Trail Luv Monday! We will be meeting 530-730 at 239 Downing Drive. We will be working on our boardwalk replacement and other tasks. Please bring your mask and gloves/water if you would like. At the end of the event we will have beverages and snacks and as much hand sanitizer you could want!

We have given out all of our hunting permits for the 2020-2021 deer season as of today. We wish all of our hunters good luck during the season and if you weren't able to get a permit this year please check here (https://www.pgc.pa.gov//HunterAccessPro/Pages/default.aspx) for other places to hunt in Allegheny County.

Our goals for the evening are to plant some native plants to improve the ecosystem in Montour Woods and to continue our work on the boardwalk replacement. Please remember to wear a mask to the event. We will have water and gloves but you are encouraged to bring those as well.

Tonight is Trail Luv Monday. We will be meeting at 1875 Hassam Road, Moon Township, PA 15108. We are planting nine species of native plants in our bioswales. Please wear a mask and feel free to bring your own water and work gloves. There will be snacks and beverages afterwards!

Hollow Oak is $100,000 closer to building the bridge connector from Montour Woods Conservation Area to the Montour Trail, thanks to Allegheny County GEDF funding!
