Honey Brook Fire Company #1 05.05.2021

At 0227 hours this morning the Honey Brook Fire Company was alerted to assist Lancaster Station 30 (Weaverland Valley) on a working barn fire in East Earl Township. Engine 33-1, Engine 33-5 and Rescue 33 responded with 20 personnel. Engine 33-5 is still on location assisting with water supply operations.

Tuesday 4/6/2021 At 2027 hrs Honey Brook Engine 33-1 and East Brandywine Ladder 49 was dispatched to cover Minquas - Downingtown Station 46 for standby duty. 46 and numerous other Chester County companies (Downingtown(45 & 46) West Bradford (39), Lionville (47),Thorndale (38), West Whiteland(6) & First West Chester (51) were battling a stubborn trash fire inside Champion Recycling at 565 Trestle Place(East Caln Township).... While enroute to Downingtown 33-1 along with other standby companies 49, & 37 were redirected to the fire scene to relieve hose line crews. Honey Brook was released at 2145 hrs. Photo and drone credits to IrishEyez. Meanwhile, back in the Honey Brook area another emergency occured & kept the rest of the 33 crew busy. At 2119 hrs Honey Brook was alerted to assist Wagontown for a building fire in the 700 block of Lammey Road (West Caln Township). Wagontown, Honey Brook, Sadsburyville, Coatesville- Ladder 41, Westwood and Lanco-White Horse Fire Departments made the response. The fire was discovered to be a trash/ brush fire at 155 Moran Lane. Units were on scene for thirty minutes.

4/5/21-Monday afternoon at 1533hrs Honey Brook Fire Company made a full company woods/brush fire assist to the Wagontown Fire Company at 3000 Compass Road (West Caln Township). Four acres of brush and woods was involved in a large mutual aid response including brush units and UTV's from Po Mar Lin, Westwood, East Brandywine, Sadsburyville, and Modena. Lanco Caernarvon Fire Company Tanker 34 stood by at the Honey Brook Fire Station.... Chief 35 (Todd Ziegler) had the Command. Brush 33, Engine 33-1, and Engine 33-5 made the response and crews worked for three hours before returning.

At 03:20 this morning Fire Departments from Honey Brook, Coatesville VA , Wagontown, Glen Moore, Lionville, Modena, and West Whiteland were dispatched to the 1600 block of Horseshoe Pike(West Brandywine Township) to assist East Brandywine on a house fire. A Fire Police Task Force was also dispatched to close Rt 322 from Highspire Rd to Swinehart Rd. Crews were in service for over one hour.
