What’s not true: That no help is coming (IF you actually reach out, you WILL find help). What is true: You still have to motivate yourself to move forward. Especially on those days when you are on your own. TIP: The brain follows the body, not the other way around. What this means is you can act your way into new habits better than you can think your way into them. Visualization helps, but when you ACT repeatedly, your brain eventually says okay, I guess we are going this now and stops resisting and starts getting motivated.

The hero’s journey doesn’t always lead us to our greatest expectations. It will if we stick it out! But the call to adventure, especially when we are young, can take us down a path that can leave us feeling stuck in the abyss. Luckily, we often meet guides, helpers, and guardians along the way, if we are perceptive enough to recognize them as such. And to heed their advice. What often comes next is the most difficult yet rewarding experience of the journey.. transformation, atonement, and the return (known as the gift of the goddess). A rebirth. A rejoicing of survival and growth. The hero’s journey is available to us all, as a birthright. As a gift. Embrace it rather than resist it. And pay attention. Be aware. The helpers are there. All you have to do is be open to seeing them. You are not alone on your journey.

The universe keeps dying and being reborn, claims Nobel Prize winner.. The ancient philosophies or Tibet and other cultures have been saying this for thousands of years. The question as to why the world’s best and brightest scientists are just now discovering this is far less fascinating that what this could mean as to what it means to be alive and the meaning of your life. Lives? ... It is true we can only experience one moment at a time, but that doesn’t mean haven’t experienced many more or have yet to experience more than this single life. An after-life life? What does that mean in the context of your current life? For now, you get to decide...

T'was a month before Christmas, And all through the town, People wore masks, That covered their frown. The frown had begun... Way back in the Spring, When a global pandemic Changed everything. They called it corona, But unlike the beer, It didn’t bring good times, It didn’t bring cheer. Contagious and deadly, This virus spread fast, Like a wildfire that starts When fueled by gas Airplanes were grounded, Travel was banned. Borders were closed Across air, sea and land. As the world entered lockdown To flatten the curve, The economy halted, And folks lost their verve. From March to July We rode the first wave People stayed home, They tried to behave. When summer emerge The lockdown was lifted. But away from caution, Many folks drifted. Now it’s November And cases are spiking, Wave two has arrived, Much to our disliking. Frontline workers, Doctors and nurses Try to save people, From riding in hearses. This virus is awful, This COVID-19. There isn’t a cure. There is no vaccine. It’s true that this year Has had sadness a plenty, We’ll never forget The year 2020. And just ‘round the corner - The holiday season, But why be merry? Is there even one reason To decorate the house And put up the tree, When no one will see it, No one but me. But outside my window The snow gently falls, And I think to myself, Let’s deck the halls! So, I gather the ribbon, The garland and bows, As I play those old carols, My happiness grows. Christmas is not cancelled And neither is hope. If we lean on each other, I know we can cope See more

WARNING! This video is NSFOPP (Not Safe For Overly Political People), especially those who do not follow the practical application of spiritual principles discussed on Quantum Revolution Counseling's YouTube channel and therefore do not understand how Einstein's Theory of Relativity is relevant to this election. We also hope this post will slip past Facebook's censors, who may object to its radically apolitical message.

"Bruce Alexander, a professor of psychology in Vancouver, explained to me, the idea of addiction we've all got in our heads, that story, comes partly from a ser...ies of experiments that were done earlier in the 20th century. They're really simple. You get a rat and you put it in a cage, and you give it two water bottles: One is just water, and the other is water laced with either heroin or cocaine. If you do that, the rat will almost always prefer the drug water and almost always kill itself quite quickly. So there you go, right? That's how we think it works. In the '70s, Professor Alexander comes along and he looks at this experiment and he noticed something. He said ah, we're putting the rat in an empty cage. It's got nothing to do except use these drugs. Let's try something different. So Professor Alexander built a cage that he called "Rat Park," which is basically heaven for rats. They've got loads of cheese, they've got loads of colored balls, they've got loads of tunnels. Crucially, they've got loads of friends. They can have loads of sex. And they've got both the water bottles, the normal water and the drugged water. But here's the fascinating thing: In Rat Park, they don't like the drug water. They almost never use it. None of them ever use it compulsively. None of them ever overdose. You go from almost 100 percent overdose when they're isolated to zero percent overdose when they have happy and connected lives." ~Johann Hari Source: Everything You Think You Know About Addiction is Wrong (TED Talk) https://www.ted.com//johann_hari_everything_you_think_you_ See Also: What Rat Experiments Can Teach Us About Addiction https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-0KfwFCMRM The Opposite of Addiction is Connection https://www.psychologytoday.com//the-opposite-addiction-is Rat Park Documentary https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ajk9uEDEUQc The Dislocation Theory Of Addiction (Bruce Alexander) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F0HjpSGmS00&t=160s The Power of Addiction and The Addiction of Power: Gabor Maté at TEDxRio+20 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=66cYcSak6nE Beating Drug Addiction - The Rat Park Experiment https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UpvjH9cVJDI
