black moonstone When my grandma passed we found a small stash of gemstones in her lockbox. My aunt picked out this one which I eventually figured out is a black moonstone. It has a really magical silver flash in the right light. She gave me the stone a while back to make something for her, so I decided to surprise her with this birthday gift. I set the stone in fine silver with a 14k gold bead border. The rest is sterling. This pendant is in memory of Mimi, a dear friend and beloved pet of my client Missy. Made with smoky quartz and moss agate, this pendant design features a frame made of ferns and flowers. Each stone is set over Mimi's fur and cremains, carefully encapsulated to be worn close to the heart or set on display.
