Recycling concrete and other aggregate from demolished buildings isn’t anything new. In most cases, it’s used as road bases or backfill. However, a team of Italian engineers recently found a way to incorporate large amounts (up to 75%) of recycled aggregate into new concrete without compromising durability and performance!

For this #TBT, we’re looking back at the site improvements at the Elizabethtown Train Station. While the project’s main goal was to increase parking and revamp the sidewalks, the project was designed in a way to enhance the area’s natural beauty with thoughtful landscaping and open spaces, giving it a park-like feel.
