Massive thanks to Amanda at Hound Haven for donating her time to gussy up Cleo, Scone, Jolene, and Bindi. They look amazing! If you are looking for a great groomer in Central PA, check out Hound Haven in Dillsburg. These four pooches will be available for adoption soon.

In preparation for our reopening we ask that all customers please wear a mask. We are allowing only one customer in the lobby at a time so please wait outside or in your car until the last person leaves if someone else is inside. We will also have payment over the phone, curbside pickup, and will be cleaning and sanitizing between customers to keep you all safe. We are continuing to schedule appointments so if you haven't recieved a phone call, don't worry we have alot of phone calls to make and we will get to you soon

We have begun our scheduling process if you have left a message you do not need to call again we will be contacting you shortly to schedule your appointment. If you would like an appointment you may call or message us with your information and we will return your call. We have an overwhelming amount of appointments to schedule for our existing clients so at this time we will not be taking on new clients. Thank you everyone for your patience while we try our best to get your fur babies taken care.

I am pleased to announce we will be reopening JUNE 19th! We will begin the long process of scheduling appointments and try our hardest to take care of our wonderful clients who have been waiting so patiently. If you have already left a voicemail or sent me a message we will call you to schedule your appointment. All other clients may leave a message with your name and number and we will return your call as soon as we can. Due to the volume of appointments we will only be addressing our existing clients at this time. This year has been so challenging first with my moms passing, the pandemic, and then me becoming a new mom but I hope that with time we can all get back to a new normal. Stay safe everyone!

Happy Monday! as our area moves into the yellow zone of the quarantine we will still remain closed due to my maternity leave. I know you are all patiently waiting for us to reopen and I am equally as eager to get back to work and see all my wonderful clients. We are aiming to reopen mid/end of June when the baby and I are healthy. Be sure to follow our page for updates.

Good morning everyone! Hope you all are doing well except for having some very hairy puppies Unfortunately we are NOT under the list of 24 counties available to open so we must remain closed. I am due to have the baby any day now so hopefully she will make an appearance very soon. The COVID-19 situation combined with my maternity leave makes our reopening date hard to determine but we miss you all immensely and will reopen as soon as possible!

Here are some tips on clipping your dogs nails at home. Hope it helps! 1. Dont feel like you have to do them all at once. Most dogs are going to be wiggly so dont be discouraged if you only get a foot or 1 or 2 nails done a day. 2. Cut at a 45 angle the reflects the growth of the nail. 3. Cut off little by little until you see a dark center. That means your getting close to the quick. Then use that as a guide for how much to take off the rest of the nails. It's better to be ...safe then sorry so if you think your close to the quick, stop there. 4. Dont give treats until you are finished with the nails or done with a foot. The point of that is to reward good behavior instead of bad. 5. Don't be afraid to use a stern voice. Dogs tend to take advantage of there owners so you want them to know you mean business but not to the point of making them fearful. 6. Use a soft touch when handling your dogs foot. If your pulling and being rough your dogs instinct is to pull back and fight you to get away. 7. Be calm and confident even if you don't feel that way. Your dogs can sense if your nervous and will take advantage of that. See more

As of today the COVID-19 virus continues to spread and we must follow state regulations to stay closed. At this time we are not certain when we will be allowed to reopen but hope to do so as soon as possible. I miss all of you so much and am going through some serious puppy withdrawal. If there are any of you that need nails done due to extreme cases of the nail curling into the pad or hair matting to the point of discomfort please leave a message at the shop or private message me and we can work something out. Please only message if it's a necessity so we can keep exposure down. We will continue to check messages through the week and keep you updated on our facebook page and shop voicemail. As of Saturday the 21st we will be closed due to the enforcement of mandatory closings of all non essential businesses. Feel free to call or message us as we will continue to check messages throughout the week. We will reopen on the 31st given mandatory closings do not extend past that point. We will keep you updated and start taking appointments once we know more. Thank you so much for all your continued support through this difficult time.
