This past weekend two historically black churches in Washington DC were the victims of hatred and racial animosity. One of them was Asbury United Methodist Church. Berwyn United Methodist Church stands with Asbury and Metropolitan AME. https://www.npr.org/.../pastor-of-black-church-defaced-in...

Back in June Saint Miriam Church in Flourtown reached out to The HUB at Berwyn United Methodist Church for help with their Blessing Bag Program. We were able to donate some supplies and plarn crocheted sleeping mats this summer. In November we were able to make another donation of more sleeping mats and non perishable food items. Saint Miriam Parish is always looking for financial donations and have several links for giving. Please give some thought and prayer for assista...nce if you are able. They are so very grateful for anything our congregation can do to help. Go to this website to learn more about this worthwhile mission https://mysaintmiriam.org/wp/blessing-bags. Contact Gina DeFlavia at [email protected] if you have any questions or if you would like to coordinate a donation.
