On April 6, 2021 between 7PM 9PM, the Hummelstown Fire Department will conduct testing on a demo ladder truck in the first block of West Main Street. Fire Police will detour traffic. The road closure is expected to last no more than 45 minutes.

Congratulations to Chief Justin Hess who was presented the Elks Distinguished Citizenship Award by the Harrisburg Elks Lodge No. 12 and the Grand Lodge Benevolent Protective Order of Elks. The award was presented by Robert "Bullit" Martindill, Exalted Ruler of the Harrisburg Elks.

2021 Borough Summer Rec Program Postponed Until the Summer of 2022 Hummelstown Borough would like to announce that the 2021 Hummelstown Summer Recreation program will be postponed until the summer of 2022. The Borough and Summer Rec staff worked diligently to make an informed decision so parents and families could plan ahead. After much discussion we feel 2022 will allow for a much more flexible, fun and safe program for the children!... ATTENTION BOROUGH RESIDENTS REPUBLIC SERVICES HAS CANCELLED TRASH PICKUP FOR THIS WEEK. THEY WILL RESUME THEIR NORMAL SCHEDULE FEBRUARY 8TH AND WILL TAKE DOUBLE TRASH/RECYCLE NEXT WEEK.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT Due to the impending snow storm, Republic Services will be closed tomorrow. They will be operating on a holiday schedule and will pick up Borough refuse on Tuesday. Please pass this information on to your Borough neighbors and friends.
