After the 6 pm Westminster Chime and toll to bless the hour, at 6:01 pm the Angelus Bell will feature the Regina Coeli hymn. This will also be played after the 12 noon blessing of the hour. 6 pm on October 6.

The new Schulmerich Electronic Carillon was installed today, replacing a unit that was bought in 1984. To start off with the Church Bells will ring each hour from 8 am to 10 pm. The Regina Coeli bell toll will play to commorate the Angelous at 12:01 pm and 6:01 pm each day. There will also be a call to worship bell toll for the Weekend Masses, that will call to worship at 5:05pm, 9:15 am and 11:15 am. Bells lift our spirits as we enter church to worship, provide a source of... strength as we leave a memorial service, and bring joy as we celebrate a wedding. For centuries, church bells have played a prominent role in the history of countries, communities, and places of worship throughout the world. Historically, church bells have served as timekeepers, used to mark the hour for work, prayer, and community gatherings. IHM School Information. Open House

It’s still Water Ice weather! Head down to Rita’s this Thursday to help out in raising some much needed funds for the medical treatment of Luisa Pellicone, a 5th grader at IHM who is battling Leukemia. All proceeds from Thursday’s event will go directly to the Pellicone family to assist with Weezy’s medical treatments. Weezy and the whole Pellicone family are in our prayers each day at IHM.
