1984 was a very dark year in India’s history. While we stand firm with the minority communities of America in the struggle for equal rights under and by the law, we also solemnly remember the massacre of Sikhs across India in the wake of Operation Blue Star and the events that followed. We remember so we may grieve with the Sikh community that is still feeling the impact. We remember in the hope that such violence is not repeated. We remember to stand firmly against injustice, no matter where it occurs. #IotaNuDelta

A revolution has awoken amongst the POC of America - standing with our Black Brothers and Sisters against injustice is long overdue. Time and again it has been shown that thoughts and prayers have accomplished nothing to quell this country’s consistent appetite for anti-Black sentiment, as well as appropriation of Black culture. While we post about our grief in the passing of Ahmaud Arbery, an innocent jogger shot and killed trying to get a workout in his neighborhood, Bre...onna Taylor, an EMT on the frontlines of COVID-19 who was killed in her own home, or George Floyd, who went to the convenience store to grab a couple things before an officer suffocated him by kneeling on his neck - we recognize that action must be taken. Addressing anti-Black sentiment in our communities is NECESSARY. Donating to causes that fight for the rights of POC is IMPORTANT. Supporting our Black Brothers and Sisters for an equal and just society is IMPERATIVE. ORGANIZE as you feel comfortable due to this pandemic. DONATE to causes that need the money to keep this movement alive. EDUCATE yourself and those that are unaware of this larger struggle.
