We are so excited to announce that today we launched our website and online store at www.inspiredfarms.com!! You can now learn more about the operation and purchase our aquaponically grown, all natural, air-dried catnip to be shipped directly to your doorstep! Cat Scratch Reefer is now available!

This large leaf Italian parsley lasted forever and generated incredible results. It was so aromatic and flavorful we removed it from our system to make room for a new variety.. updates to come!!

As many of you know, our operation has been shut down for the last 6 weeks or so. The reason was that we have been busy planning, designing, constructing and implementing our new filtration system. We based our new design off of an experiment by a DIY farmer in CT that we met at the Aquaponics Conference in September. The new set up features a mechanical filter that has a much steeper slope than our previous RFS and an in-line mineralization tank that takes all of the solid fish waste and breaks it down into a compost tea. This saves us 240 gallons of water per week and will increase the nutrient content for our plants. We are beyond excited that we completed this project and we’re happy to report that it has been running successfully (with a few tweaks) for a couple weeks! More updates to come soon
