*New Blog Post*! It’s through meals that I feel like I am able to fully celebrate the cultures that make me who I am, and it’s through meals that our family was able to blend them together. We eat soul food at our Passover Seders, and some years the smell of our Christmas cookies mixes with the smell of lingering latkes. I’ve seen religious boundaries crossed with the passing of matzo and charoset, and cultural boundaries crossed with heaping plates at the family cookout." http://interfaithphiladelphia.blogspot.com//bringing-ident
"In fact, having a non-Jewish partner has made my sense of identity and religiosity stronger because every time I share my traditions and talk about my family history, I am reminded of how salient Judaism is to who I am." https://www.heyalma.com/my-interfaith-relationship-is-trul/

"An encounter between two fan-favorite characters in a recent episode is made all the more profound when one understands that religion a constant but also often ignored catalyst in the Star Wars universe is likely the driving force (pun intended) behind many of the actions onscreen." https://religionnews.com//the-mandalorian-is-an-indictmen/
"The religious divides in this country were just massive for the first 150 years,' said U.S. Rep. Brendan Boyle... 'So now, to get to the point in which it's only the second time a Catholic is elected president and [his Catholicism] is just not a big issue, is a great sign of progress." https://www.inquirer.com//joe-biden-second-catholic-presid

"At virtual commencement this year, Howard addressed graduates, who had lost their senior year and the cherished traditions that graduation brings. In his prayer, he told them that while the pandemic meant isolation and grief, it also brought opportunity and heroism. 'May these graduates always be counted among the heroic number who respond to the difficulties of life by seeking to serve and love others wherever their paths may lead them,' he said." https://www.inquirer.com//penn-chaplain-social-equity-cris

*NEW* Wonderings blog post! "What is interesting to me, if the art speaks a truth, it takes on a life of its own. People see different aspects to it. If it isn’t right, it falls flat. No amount of technical skill can bring life to it." http://interfaithphiladelphia.blogspot.com//prayer-margare
