The LORD Is My Shepherd The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. Psalms 23:1 In the New Testament, Jesus announced Himself as the good Shepherd. He s...aid it so plainly there could be no mistake what He meant. He fulfills the ideal of shepherd-like care for the people of God as illustrated in the Old Testament. I am the good shepherd; and I know My sheep, and am known by My own. As the Father knows Me, even so I know the Father; and I lay down My life for the sheep. John 10:14-15 The good shepherd lives and dies for the good of the sheep. In other words, the good shepherd sacrifices for the sheep. The good shepherd knows his sheep (I know My sheep). We may think of people as being all the same, but the good shepherd knows they are individuals with their own personalities and characteristics. As Followers of Christ we believe in the promise and fulfillment of Scripture: He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, And carry them in His bosom, And gently lead those who are with young. Isaiah 40:11 My prayer for us today is that we find Jesus to be the Shepherd that He is, so that we do not want (or lack for what is needed). Love & Prayers, Alan James Schrader

DEVOTIONS WITH PASTOR BOB The Promise of The Spirit Is for All Believers Come Holy Spirit... https://youtu.be/OkTluCNidfI ACTS 2:39-40 (AMP) 38 - And Peter said to them, Repent [change your old way of thinking, turn from your sinful ways, accept and follow Jesus as the Messiah] and be baptized, each of you, in the name of Jesus Christ because of the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. 39 - For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is for you and your children and for all who are far away [including the Gentiles], as many as the Lord our God calls to Himself. Today if you are born again, you have the Holy Spirit. In John 20:22, John says, Then he (Jesus) breathed on them and said, Receive the Holy Spirit. This took place after the resurrection when the disciples received the Holy Spirit after Jesus breathed on them. This is the point at which they received eternal life through the Holy Spirit, and were born again. John 14:17 (NLT) He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now (BORN AGAIN) and later will be in you (BAPTISM IN THE SPIRIT). JESUS TELLS NICODEMUS ABOUT THIS WORK OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. JOHN 3:5-8 (NLT) 5 - Jesus replied, I assure you; no one can enter the Kingdom of God without being born of water and the Spirit. 6 - Humans can reproduce only human life, but the Holy Spirit gives birth to spiritual life. 7 - So don’t be surprised when I say, ‘You must be born again.’ 8 - The wind blows wherever it wants. Just as you can hear the wind but can’t tell where it comes from or where it is going, so you can’t explain how people are born of the Spirit. In verse 5, when Jesus told Nicodemus that he must be born of water and the Spirit, He was not referring to literal water, or baptism, or the amniotic fluid in the womb, but He was referring to the need for spiritual cleansing, renewal. The Holy Spirit is the one who cleanses the heart and brings about spiritual birth. This takes place when the gift of eternal life is imparted to us when we confess Jesus to be our Savior and Lord and receive His free gift. Titus 3:5 (NLT) He saved us, not because of the good things we did, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins and gave us a new life through the Holy Spirit. 1 Peter 3:21(NLT) And that water is a picture of baptism, which now saves you, not by removing dirt from your body, but as a response to God from a clean conscience. It is effective because of the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Acts chapter 2 was the initial manifestation of the power of the Holy Spirit being poured out. BUT IT DIDN’T END THERE THE PROMICED OF THE HOLY SPIRIT IS ALSO FOR US Acts 2:39 (AMP) says, For the promise [of the Holy Spirit] is for you and your children and for all who are far away [including the Gentiles], as many as the Lord our God calls to Himself. Peter specifically said that the promise of the Holy Spirit would be given to those who believe in all succeeding generations (all who are afar off). THE DISCIPLES WERE BORN AGAIN & THEN THEY HAD TO WAIT So, we are told that the disciples were filled with the Spirit when Jesus breathed on them. This was their conversion where they were baptized into Christ. Then Jesus tells them they must wait to be endued with power from on High (Luke 24:49, John 14:26, Acts 1:4). It is clear that there is something more that the disciples needed to receive. It was to be endued with power from high by the Holy Spirit. PENTICOST IS WHEN THE AGE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT BEGINS - During the age the Holy Spirit, gifts will be given to believers to edify the Body of Christ. (Romans 12:68, 1 Corinthians 12:710,1 Corinthians 12:28, Ephesians 4:11) - During the age the Holy Spirit, He will produce fruit in the lives of believers where He produces the character qualities of Jesus in their hearts and lives. (Galatians 5:22) - During the age the Holy Spirit, He will pour out the love of God into the hearts of believers. (Romans 8:28) - During the age of the Holy Spirit, the Gospel will be proclaimed. (Matthew 28:19, Mark 16:15, Acts 1:8, Colossians 1:23) Romans 8:11 (NLT) The Spirit of God, who raised Jesus from the dead, LIVES IN YOU. And just as God raised Christ Jesus from the dead, he will give life to your mortal bodies by this same Spirit living within you. We have the same Holy Spirit living in us that raised Jesus from the dead, Wow! PRAYER IN SONG Spirit of The Living God https://youtu.be/ZPZrxZgQjrg

Glory to God, for a wonderful Saturday. Good morning Dearest Family and Friends May Heavenly Peace be your rest in the Name of Jesus. This is the thing that the... Lord has commanded, various laws for a holy and consecrated life, in fact from the Leviticus 17. true chapter 23, everything refers to the duties, qualities, and associations of individuals in private life. This fact, as it happens immediately after the great Day of Atonement, is very suggestive. It indicates that God contemplates far more in reverence for us than mere forgiveness of our sins, that justification is not the entire intent of the Savior's redemptive services, and that there must be personal righteousness and purification based on our own goodwill choices. "In him was life", and "his life is the light of men." Without some degree of conformity to Him, our religion is but a shadow and a name. Because so it is written: "If a man does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his". Allow me to draw attention, therefore, more specifically to the means and elements of a good and holy, honest, virtuous life as illustrated in the chapters above. The use of blood was forbidden not because it was impure, but because it was sacred. Represents life. It is what life has been redeemed with. Now, it is easy to see how such a law would work to solemnize, restrain, and soften the heart of a Jew, or anyone who believes conscientiously responsible. He would hold the solemn atonement before him wherever he went. Leviticus 17:1-16 Rules for sacrificing and eating meat. Leviticus 17: 6-7 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood on the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of meeting and burn the fat for a sweet aroma to the LORD. 7 They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations." {Offering animal sacrifices anywhere but the Tabernacle was considered murder, resulting in the guilty being condemned Leviticus 17:1-9. Conviction, or expulsion, was also the punishment for eating blood, because the life of the flesh is in the blood, and it is the blood that makes atonement for sin Leviticus 17: 10-14. The penalty was less severe if the person unknowingly consumed the blood of an animal that had died a natural death or was killed by another animal Leviticus 17: 15-16. Furthermore, God loves his only begotten and only Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. His son voluntarily left the glory of heaven and came to earth to reveal the truth to man. He revealed the truth about God, about man, about sin and about himself. He is the Son of God and the Savior of the world. He revealed the truth about himself and about heaven, hell, and the provision of salvation through his atoning death. Because of what Christ has done, God loves his Son beyond measure. Therefore, God is jealous of his Son. Anyone who curses or insults his Son, and the atoning blood of his Son will face the terrible wrath and judgment of God.} A Majestic day with Jesus. See more

Here's Friday we expected it from Monday. Good morning dear Family and Friends may Heavenly Goodness be your refuge in Jesus the Savior. Leviticus a very consid...erable book other important principles for understanding the many laws is that everything is divided into three categories: Holy and profane, the profane is divided into pure and unclean Leviticus 10:10. Many laws explain what category each type of object or person is in, and how they can move from one category to another. Leviticus 16: 1-34 The day of atonement. Although various sacrifices were prescribed for various individual sins, the tenth day of the seventh month was a special day for Israel, on that day the high priest would enter the Most Holy Place and atone for the sins of the entire nation. Aaron was not to enter the Most Holy Place except on the Day of Atonement. Before entering, he had to offer a sin offering and a burnt offering for himself, then wash and dress appropriately (preachers must also be saved and cleansed!) Two goats were selected by lot, one to be sacrificed as a sin offering and the other to serve as a "scapegoat." Aaron was to shed the blood of a bull and a goat seven times on the mercy seat, then lay his hands on the scapegoat and confess all of Israel's sins. The scapegoat was then led out of the camp and released into the wilderness, symbolically taking away the sins of the people. While the priests performed the atonement ceremonies, the people were to spend the day in silent examination of conscience and humility, commemorating God's cleansing from sin. The Day of Atonement, Hebrew "Yom Kippur" cleansed Israel of all her sins, the word all occurs nine times in chapter 16 in this regard. But the forgiveness lasted only until the next Day of Atonement Hebrews 10: 3-4. Yet, he eagerly awaited Christ's sacrifice once and for all Hebrews 7: 20-28, Hebrews 10: 11-14, Isaiah 53: 6 describes Jesus as the scapegoat who takes away the sins of all who believe in him. We will be blessed if we sincerely believe in Jesus.} A wonderful day praising Jesus. See more

I think I hope we had a wonderful Sunday. And joyfully we say welcome Monday to start another week. Good morning Dearest Family and Friends Peace and Mercy be y...our consolation in the Name of Jesus. The idea that there was only one LORD, one Savior and Redeemer who could deliver His people from any situation, had been rejected long ago by the Egyptians. This was the great lesson that the Egyptians now had to learn, the same lesson that so many people today must learn even day, there is only one LORD, one Savior, and He is the LORD in every country on the earth. Only the LORD is the true and living God, everywhere, in every tribe, in every nation and in every country. This passage covers this great topic. Flies swarmed in Egypt. The proof that the LORD is the Savior the Redeemer, the one living and true God, in every place where His Name is implored. Exodus 8: 20-32. Vs. 20-21 And the LORD said to Moses, "Rise early in the morning and stand before Pharaoh as he comes out to the water. Then say to him, 'Thus says the LORD: "Let My people go, that they may serve Me. 21 Or else, if you will not let My people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies on you and your servants, on your people and into your houses. The houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground on which they stand. {The Lord was protecting His servants, why? The declaration of the Word of God, and His will V.20, The warning, and the pronouncement of judgment V.21. The purpose of the judgment V.22-23 Thus came the day of judgment, dense flocks of flies filled the houses, and the lands of Egypt were blackened and ruined by the flies V.24. Except ’Goshen. Exodus 8:22-23 And in that day I will set apart the land of Goshen, in which My people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there, in order that you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the land. 23 I will make a difference between My people and your people. Tomorrow this sign shall be." - God warns us of the coming judgment. But in this moment His Word is just a warning, the judgment has not yet fallen, not the full force of God's eternal and holy wrath. We still have time to repent, time to forsake our sinful ways and turn to God. Accepting seriously the Savior Jesus, this we must do while we still have time. God bless everyone's decision.} A joyful day in the Name of Jesus. See more
