SEPTA is offering a $1,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest of a suspect involved in an aggravated assault of a #SEPTA employee. Call SEPTA Transit Police at (215) 580-8111. The incident occurred in the 700-block of Long Lane in Upper Darby on April 10 at approximately 12am. A SEPTA Bus Operator reported to police that a man tried to board the Route 108 bus without wearing a mask. When the operator told the man that face coverings are required on SEPTA - he c...overed his face with a handkerchief, threatened to kill the operator, flashed a handgun from his waistband, and exited the bus. The suspect was last seen in the area of Greenwood Avenue and Clover Lane in Upper Darby. Fortunately, the Operator was not injured during the incident. While we might not all agree with the mask mandate - it's the least we can do to protect one another. Threatening a SEPTA employee because they insist you wear a mask doesn't make you tough. Each individual service pattern has its own color and letter. #BehindTheScenes this map was made in Adobe Illustrator using short line segments (with the Pen Tool, snapped to the grid) to put together the lines.
