It was a privilege to join NAMI Montgomery County, PA as a panalist for the IndieFlix documentary Like. It continues to be important to discuss and understand the impact of social media on mental health. If you are in need of mental health support, I would recommend exploring the many suppers that NAMI has to offer in your area. They are an organization driven by people of mission, dedicated to holding a light during dark times.

I'm looking forward to joining Salford Mennonite Church for this important conversation: What happens to us when we cannot touch or care for the ones we love? What happens to us when we are unable to sing our songs in times of great joy or deep sorrow? Psychologist Brett Litz used the term Moral Injury to describe the type of inner conflict that stirs when we are prevented from acting in ways that are consistent to our moral selves. Join us as we explore moral injury, complex grief, and other ways in which the pandemic has impacted mental health throughout the community. This seminar is also meant to strengthen your ability to cope with pandemic related stress as winter approaches.
