We're saddened to announce that the community center is shutdown as of December 12th and will remain closed until January 4th due to the mandate released by Governor Wolf. This includes the closure and cancelation of the fitness center, the pool, gym and track, as well as any other events or programs we offer. Regardless of the circumstances, we're wishing you a happy and safe holiday season and we hope to see you back soon!

Due to COVID concerns we have been unable to provide many of our services as usual but we are hoping to get a clear schedule of our events and happenings soon. As we get ready to reopen Monday, January 4th, the events and programs will be picking up as scheduled for next week: The building itself will resume the following open times, 8 to 12 P.M. and 2 to 7 P.M., Monday through Thursday. Open gym for basketball is going to be 5 to 7 P.M., Tuesday and Thursday. ... Pool hours will also remain the same, opening at 8 A.M. and closing at 10 A.M. Monday through Thursday, and will reopen from 4 to 6 P.M. on Monday and Wednesday. Aerotone will be held in the gym from 6 to 7 P.M., Monday and Wednesday. We will be offering a new yoga program as well held by Kim Schlimm, the first class taking place on Thursday, January 7th from 6-7 P.M. It will be on the second floor. If you're interested, more information about this will be provided in a later post. If there are any changes in these times you can expect to see them posted on our Facebook page. Hello everyone. A few updates, Our hours have changed. Currently, we're open from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M., and we reopen from 5 P.M. to 7 P.M., Monday through Thursday. ... In terms of the reopening of our pool, Johnsonburg is still experiencing a water shortage and until this is lifted we cannot fill the pool. As always, we appreciate your patience and continue to apologize for the extensive delays. We will be sure to post of its reopening as soon as possible!

Upcoming exercise classes: Get Fit with Laura will begin Monday, October 5th. It is a 10 week course and the fee is $60 for non-members and free with a members...hip. It will run 6pm-7pm Mondays and Wednesdays Body Rox with Kim will begin Thursday, October 8th. This is also a 10 week course . First class is free to try it out . Classes are $7 perr class or $60 for the entire 10 weeks All classes be sure to bring water, a yoga mat, and wear a mask upon entering the building.

New windows are in and the pool is looking nice! We still don’t have a decided date for our pool reopening, due to the water shortage. We will update when we have a decision.

Currently, we are waiting for the new windows to be installed before we can reopen the pool. We also have a water shortage here in Johnsonburg so this further prohibits our pool from being filled. Good afternoon! The community center continues to wish you well during our unfortunate reality of COVID-19. A few announcements:... Our Trash or Treasure sale had a wonderful turnout, earning over $500! We want to send out our heartfelt thanks for any who helped with the sale: we appreciate you! Due to still having plenty of donations leftover we have decided to host one more. It will be held on Saturday, July 25th from 9 to noon. If you are able we would love to see you there! There is still time to drop off any items you would like to include in the sale as well, we would be glad to take them. Anytime between 8 to 4, Monday through Thursday would be great. Thank you again! We have decided to host a Chalk the Walk contest (if the weather permits us) on the same day as our sale, July 25th, Saturday, starting at 9 A.M. It will be hosted on the sidewalks around our building. Prizes will be available for those who we think have drawn the best! All art made will be appreciated, the winners are only based on our opinion! All ages welcome. We look forward to seeing you!

News: Playground and Fitness center are officially open!!!(yay!!) The Pool is unfortunately not open and neither are the locker rooms since they are still undergoing renovations. Our Trash or Treasure sale will be held on Sat. June 27th from 9am-1pm. There are some really awesome items that have been donated! We are currently accepting sign ups for a Summer Program to begin July 7th-9th from 10-2 for students aged 5-12. We will have art, games, music and more.
