Dear friends: We at dmhFund are very proud and honored to announce that the historic 19.5 million dollar LGBT Friendly John C. Anderson Senior Affordable Apartments (JCAA), as of today, has passed all city, state and federal inspections and is fully certified to be occupied. We have begun to send out letters to the successful applicants with apartment numbers and move in information. Among our residence is an LGBT pioneer from the famed Gay Liberation Front in NYC circa: 1969... and an actress who appeared in John Waters cult classic "Pink Flamingo's." There are still 11 apartments still available and there will be a public meeting at William Way LGBT Community Center on Wednesday December 18th for interested parties. Residence will move in during January. We have begun to plan the ribbon cutting and we hope we will announce the date and details by year's end. In the short time, the next two weeks will be used to put final touches on the building and allow the interior designers to finish the public areas. This is a milestone for our community. The Board of dmhFund wants to thank each of you and the community support which made this a reality. A community's first obligation is to take care of it's own, and with the JCAA, we begin to show appreciation for our seniors who are our pioneers. best, Mark Segal
