JEFF TECH APRIL STUDENT OF THE MONTH The Jeff Tech April student of the month is Ashton Stewart. Ashton is a Freshman in the Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanics program. He comes to Jeff Tech from the Punxsutawney Area School District. Ashton is known by students and staff for being very friendly and kind to anyone he meets. His hobbies are listening to music, working out and playing Xbox. Ashton’s future plans are to work on a farm or become a YouTuber.

Jeff Tech will be operating on a two hour delay today (2/9) due to weather conditions.

JEFF TECH FEBRUARY STUDENT OF THE MONTH The Jeff Tech February student of the month is James Fetterman. James is a junior in the Welding program. He comes to Jeff Tech from the Punxsutawney Area School District. James is a welding shop officer. In 2020, he represented our school by competing in the Skills USA District Competition with a second place finish. James has been a volunteer assisting with the 8th grade tours conducted at Jeff Tech. His future plans are to be a self-employed welder. He would like to work on onshore gas and oil rigs providing service and maintenance. He is the son of Brad and Melina Fetterman.

JEFF TECH DECEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH Jeff Tech’s December student of the month is Nevaeh Lindemuth. Nevaeh is an 11th grade student in Culinary Arts. She is also the Culinary Arts shop treasurer. In school, Nevaeh has represented Jeff Tech as a competitor in the Skills USA District competition for Culinary Arts and Production. She has also competed in the Pro-Start competition, serving as the Manager for the 2019-20 Pro-Start team. She is a member of the Jeff Tech aevidum club promoting student wellness. Nevaeh’s home school is the DuBois Area School District. In her spare time, she volunteers as a tutor for Arc of Learning at CG Johnson elementary and participates in Relay for Life. She is employed by Pizza Hut in DuBois.

JEFF TECH NOVEMBER STUDENT OF THE MONTH Jeff Tech’s November student of the month is Eric Bradford. Eric is a 12th grade student in the Building Trades Shop. He is involved in the National Technical Honor Society (NTHS); Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) and aevidum (club that promotes student wellness) here at Jeff Tech. Eric represented Jeff Tech at the 2019-20 Skills USA competition finishing 1st at the district level for Building Construction. He has a...lso earned his Eagle Scout - his project was building benches and volunteering for the DuBois food pantry. Eric is employed through the Jeff Tech co-op program in the Jeff Tech Maintenance area and also works for Dan Steele Construction. His home school is the DuBois Area School District. He is also a Volunteer Fireman for Falls Creek and is the son of Shawn and Diane Bradford. See more

Jeff Tech Families, With the number of staff members out due to contact tracing at this time we continue to be stretched to the limit and our staff has done a great job to get this far. I could not be more proud of their collective effort for our students. Friday, December 18th will be day 76 on site and will be our last day of school before the break. This is not because of the number of positive cases but rather because of the contact tracing and the impact it has had on... the availability of our staff. We have decided to hit the reset button and move the school days from December 21st through the 23rd to the end of the school year. School will reopen on-site January 4th and we will have our entire staff at our disposal to meet the needs of our students. Every student that has been quarantined will also be able to return at that time. This decision is truly the best for our students and their education. We wish you a very happy holiday break.
