I’m back in the studio this weekend and cannot wait! I have a half-day shoot with one of my favorite crews (follow my stories on Sunday to find out who)...there’s going to be a lot of laughing, a lot of great shots and a lot of wind...I’m bringing a fan...a really big fan #ibroughtmyownwind

One of my very favorites from our brand shoot with Chef Alekka. We all laughed a lot during this entire shoot. This was towards the end of when we were doing her portraits and she put on her favorite t-shirt, we had a random playlist going and the glass champagne kicked in! I love that this captures all the great elements of her personality. Lots more coming from our shoot. Sarah never fails to look cool as hell during all of our shoots together! Sarah owns and operates Sweb Marketing, a digital and social marketing firm as well as running The Pittsburgh Web Instagram account - a guide for all things to do, drink and eat in Pittsburgh. Sarah and I met about three years ago while we both worked at the same ad agency and we were on the same accounts together. We made a great team and loved working together. ... Both of us had the entrepreneurial itch around the same time and left our jobs to start our own businesses - Sweb Marketing and Jeronimo Creative. As we both grew our respective businesses, we found that there were certain projects where it made sense to collaborate together- her developing the marketing strategy and content with me bringing it to life with design and photography. We call it The Dream Team (we don’t actually, I just made that up but I am going to try to make it stick ). Sarah and I have a few exciting projects we worked on together recently that are about to launch this week and so excited to start sharing them. Also, excited to crack open bottle of champagne and have a virtual happy hour this weekend to celebrate!

My friend Krista’s deli is having their grand opening today! They are located right on Main Street in Carnegie so if you are in the area, stop on by! Our full photo shoot got pushed back a few weeks since my little guy made a surprise early appearance ). I’ve been working on a ton of new projects with her - everything from a brand refresh of her current business, a new visual identity for a second business she is opening, two new websites and product shoots for both her businesses! Working with Melissa reminds me why I love working with small businesses and entrepreneurs. I love working one on one with people to bring their ideas and ...stories to life.
