Dear loyal customers and friends, For the more than 30 years John was in business, he very much enjoyed and appreciated taking care of his customer’s needs. Therefore, before his passing, he prioritized finding a new owner to take over the operation.... So we’re pleased to announce that Johnny’s Auto Repair will transition to new ownership. We have found someone who really appreciates the business, understands how to operate it properly, and is keen and capable of developing its future potential. We ask for your patience and understanding as the new owner moves in and sets up the shop. Thank you all for your business. You will be in good hands under the new ownership.

The family of John Cinque is devastated to announce his passing. John died peacefully early Monday morning with loved ones at his side. For the past couple of months he valiantly battled some health issues. Unfortunately it was now his time. For over 30 years he cared deeply about this shop all the way to the end. He didn’t consider you his customers, he thought of you as his friends. He took pride in caring for your vehicles, knowing how important of an investment it was for... you and how you relied of it for safety and getting you to work on time. We will miss him dearly. There will always be a hole in our hearts. Please take a moment call a friend or have a conversation with a loved one in his memory.

Please don’t leave your car running unattended. Cars are being stolen by opportunistic thieves. 2nd Police District Captain Deacon said they are continuing to see an increase in this crime. Obviously it’s cold and the temptation to keep the car warm is strong. But it’s too risky. Also, leaving cars unlocked while still leaving valuables in the cars is also still a problem. Last month 7th District Captain Ritchie shared data that showed more than 95 percent of theft-from-aut...o crimes happened to unlocked vehicles. Please share this info with family and friends.
