Pennsylvania’s new 2020-21 Hunting Licenses are available for purchase Monday, June 22! We’ve had several people ask about the 2020 Antlerless Deer License Appl...ication Schedule, so here it is: July 13 Residents; July 20 Nonresidents; Aug. 3 Unsold, 1st Round; Aug. 17 Unsold, 2nd Round. Just a reminder, to apply for an anterless deer license, you will have to purchase a new valid hunting license beforehand. All antlerless deer license applications must be mailed in the official pink envelopes; applications are accepted by mail only until over-the-counter sales begin (Aug. 24 in WMUs 2B, 5C & 5D; and Oct. 5 for all other WMUs). More details are available on www.pgc.pa.gov, as well as in the new 2020-21 Hunter-Trapper Digest, which will be available when new licenses go on sale. Thank you for being a Pennsylvania hunter!

Spring Gobbler season is over--hope you were successful! What now? Groundhogs, maybe coyotes. and this is prime time to catch up with your reloading. Take a kid to the range with you and let them fire a .22 or maybe a .410. Its a rough time in the firearm industry right now--sales are down, manufacturers are on the move to gun friendly states and most are re-tooling for new products. Many are in financial trouble--one of the biggest is -United Sporting-is iin bankruptcy--Je...rry's Sports Center is owned by this group--its a real shame when a holdiing company takes over and runs companies into the ground--when I first started dealing with Jerry's, they were privately owned and had 5 warehouses thru out the country--then United bought them--now their future is questionable--what a shame--they lost a lot of good people over the years during the takeover and hopefully the folks there nnow can keep their jobs---I've bought a lot of guns, scopes, and other products from them over the years andhope they get things ironed out. Spring Gobbler season is just around the corner--The turkey population seems to be plentiful and I've seen several long beards in the mix, haven't heard them gobbliing yet around the farm but I'm sure they are--anyway--stop in the shop for supplies--we have 3" and 3 1/2" turkey loads, decoys, and a few call left--stop in let us know what you need, if we don't have it, I can have it here in just a couple days--good luck!!
